This is a spot for WSUA's 1974 Election coverage featuring Chris Walters. Historical Note: Hugh Carey won the gubernatorial election over acting Governor Malcolm Wilson. Wilson had been Rockefeller's Lieutenant Governor, and was elevated when Rocky was appointed Vice President by Gerald Ford. Courtesy Andy Baum.

One WSUA tradition was that at the end of each school year, the station would have a banquet during which they would play a tape made especially for the occasion. These tapes would parody the station programs and poke fun at the membership, usually in a no-holds-barred fashion. This is the 1976 tape, donated by Anita Bonita. It offers rare insight into the behind-the-scenes aspects of mid-1970s WSUA, and well worth a listen. The tape is rife with swear words and would never be played on the air.
