April 2025 will mark the 40th Anniversary of Bill McCann's hosting of The Saturday Morning Edition of Jazz on WCDB. To mark the
occasion and to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month, there will be a full day of jazz at the University at Albany on
Saturday, April 5, 2025, beginning at noon. "The UAlbany Jazz Appreciation Month Festival, Celebrating Bill McCann's 40th Anniversary on WCDB" will be held
on the Uptown Campus of the University at Albany, on two stages in the Campus Center West building. The Festival will feature
16 jazz bands comprised of over 80 of the finest jazz musicians from the Capital District and beyond. FREE ADMISSION.
Note: Sets are ~ 50 minutes with a 10 minute changeover.
